- Service: With sisters Pantera and Tigre formed the 5th Destroyer Division based in the Red Sea at outbreak of WWII. Performed defensive minelaying and made several unsuccessful attempts to intercept British convoys during period June 1940 - March 1941. On 31 March Leone struck an uncharted rock and was destroyed by her consorts.
