- Service: Present at action off Calabria, July 1940. Rammed and sank British submarine HMS Oswald off Cape Spartivento, 1 August. With sisters Da Noli and Tarigo laid mines off Cape Bon and Malta in October, causing the loss of the British destroyers HMS Hyperion and HMS Imperial. Seriously damaged in action off Pantellaria June 1942, requiring tow by sister Malocello. Sailed from La Spezia 8 September 1943 to attack German barge traffic between Sardinia and Corsica, in company with Da Noli, but damaged by shore batteries while sister was sunk. Making for internment in the Balearic Islands, bombed and sunk by German planes, 10 September 1943.
