- Service: Group originally classified as destroyers, but reclassified as torpedo boats from 1 Oct 1938. Curtatone lost 20 May 1941 to mines in the Gulf of Athens. Two sisters, Calatafimi and Castelfidardo were captured by the Germans 9 Sep 1943 and taken into service as TA 19 and TA 16, respectively; both were later sunk during the war. Monzambano joined the Allies and continued as escort during remainder of war, serving until 1951.
