- Notes: Class comprised hull numbers 75-185. Only a third of these were commissioned before the end of WW1. Many were laid up or discarded between the wars. A total of 81 remained in 1939. Some 30 of these were transferred to Great Britain and Canada in Sep 1940. Many were converted to minelayer (DM), minesweeper (DMS), or fast attack transport (APD) configurations during WW2. Breckinridge was originally a four-stacker with 12-21" T.T. Laid up in 1922, reactivated in 1930, laid up again in 1936, and then reactivated again in 1939. Converted to escort configuration; after boiler and one smokestack traded for additional fuel and after torpedo tubes replaced by light A.A. Designated AG-112 in Jun 1945. Scrapped 1946.
