- Notes: Commissioned as USS Jason Fuel Ship #12. Designated collier AC-12 on 17 Jul 1920. Sister ship Orion designated AC-11. From 1913 to April 1918 carried fuel in the Caribbean and in late 1914 delivered Christmas gifts to war-torn Europe. From Apr-Jul 1918 delivered aviation materials to Scotland, then cargo deliveries to Mediterranean. Carried aircraft and equipment to Guam in 1921 and to Asiatic fleet in Philippines in 1925 where she served as tender. Reclassified as seaplane tender AV-2 on 21 January 1930. Returned to US in May 1932. In reserve until sold to American S.S. Co., Buffalo, N.Y. in 1936 and converted into commercial bulk freighter. Scrapped at Baltimore in 1948.
