- Service: Built for P&O Lines. Originally had two funnels, accommodation for 199 first class, 135 second class. Maiden voyage 3 Jul 1925 on London-Australia service. Additional low-pressure turbines fitted 1930. War service as an armed merchant cruiser, 1939-43. Troopship 1944-47. Refit begun Sep 1947 as one-class immigrant ship. Returned to commercial service 30 Dec 1948 London-Sydney. Broken up 1953.
