- Service: Aircraft maintenance carrier also used as an operational unit. Served Home and Mediterranean fleets 1943-44, supporting Salerno landings and performing escort duties in the Atlantic. Eastern fleet 1944, Pacific fleet 1945 supporting Okinawa invasion. In reserve 1946-49. Recommissioned as transport carrier for Korean War, acting as resupply, repair and occasional troop ship out of Hong Kong and Singapore. Returned to reserve 1953. Scrapped Dalmuir 1959.
