Isaac Sweers and ZH1 (ex-Gerard Callenburgh) were both Dutch destroyers of the Tjerk Hiddes class . At the time of the German invasion in May 1940, Isaac Sweers was incomplete, but was towed to Great Britain and finished there. After considerable action in different theaters, she was sunk by a German U-boat in the Mediterranean in Nov 1942. Gerard Callenburgh was also incomplete and scuttled at Rotterdam. However she was raised by the Germans and completed as ZH1. She served in the Baltic and the Bay of Biscay until sunk in combat with Allied destroyers off Ushant while attempting to attack D-Day invasion forces in Jun 1944.
