- Notes: Completed six combat patrols during WWII, during which she sank nine vessels of 20,146 tons total, including Japanese light cruiser Natori on 18 Aug 1944. Converted in 1952 to GUPPY IIA configuration at Electric Boat, New London, CT. Received greater underwater propulsion power, Sargo II batteries, streamlined sail and superstructure, snorkel, equipment updated and rearranged but not as drastically as GUPPY II conversion. Transferred to Greece in 1972 and renamed Papanikolis; stricken in 1993.
