- Notes: One of eight members of the eighteen-ship Forrest Sherman class that received an ASW conversion in 1969-70. ASROC replaced one 5" gun and the two twin 3" guns were removed and ASW torpedo tubes relocated. An improved CIC, radars, and sonar were also provided. Four others converted to guided missile destroyers (DDG), giving up the aft two 5" guns for ASROC and a single-arm Tartar launcher.
