- Notes: Lead ship of the first postwar destroyer class and last all-gun destroyers, as built. Of eighteen ships, four were later converted to guided missile destroyers (DDG), giving up the aft two 5" guns for ASROC and a single-arm Tartar launcher. Eight others received an ASW conversion with ASROC replacing the second 5" gun.
