- Notes: Van Speijk was lead ship of her class, a modified British Type 12 Leander design, using broadly the same armament as the original design, but where possible, substituting Dutch electronics and radars.
A mid-life modernization was carried out 1976-79 during which the dual 4.5' guns were replaced by a single OTO Mekara 76mm cannon, the helicopter hangar and flight deck were enlarged, Harpoon antiship missiles added, and radar and sonar upgraded. Sold to Indonesia and renamed Slamet Riyadi.
