- Notes: The Type 61 AD frigates shared the same hull and power plant as the Type 41 AA frigate. The Type 61 AD version carried a more comprehensive air warning radar -- a Type 965 'double bedstead' -- with a twin 40mm STAAG mount aft. This was later replaced with a GWS20 quadruple Seacat missile launcher for close-in AA defense as shown here. Lincoln was scheduled to transfer to Bangladesh in 1982, but the deal was cancelled.
