- Notes: Built as RMAS Newton for the Royal Maritime Auxiliary Service as a dual role cable layer/oceanographic research ship. Operation turned over to Serco Marine Services Ltd (operating in support of Her Majesty's Naval Service and the Royal Fleet Auxiliary) in 2008 and name changed to SD Newton (for Serco Denholm). Also used as training and support vessel for Special Forces. Replaced in 2010 by SD Victoria and scrapped in 2013 at Ghent.
