- Actions: Improved Cleveland class with single funnel and various modifications to reduce topweight. Fargo was completed too late to see action in WW2. Of eight sisters laid down, only one other, CL-107 Huntington, was completed; the rest were cancelled. Fargo served several tours of duty in the Mediterranean before being decommissioned.
