- Notes: Assigned to Caribbean and US Gulf and East coast service on completion until transferred to Pacific in 1922. In 1928 she began regular shuttle service from San Pedro to the Asiatic Fleet in the Philippines and China, averaging four trips a year for nine years. On 7 Feb 1933 en route from Manila to San Diego she encountered the tallest rogue wave ever recorded up to that time - 112 ft in height. In 1937 she made one trip to the Aleutians and then shifted to Hawaii shuttle service in spring 1941. Present at Pearl Harbor on 7 Dec 1941. During the war she travelled to Bora Bora, and then mostly to the Aleutians. On 27 Dec 1942 she rescued the crew of USS Wasmuth (DMS-15), which had lost her stern in a depth charge accident during a severe Alaska storm. Completed her last run at Seattle in Sep 1945.
