- Service: Originally armed with 6-5.9in like her sister Tromp. However, her gunnery directing equipment was left behind in Holland when she escaped to England with a skeleton crew during the German invasion in May 1940. It was decided to rebuild her as an anti-aircraft cruiser (at Portsmouth) in the configurations shown here. She escorted several Atlantic convoys before heading for the far East in Jan 1942. She was attached to the British Eastern Fleet for two years before returning to European waters and taking part in operations in the Mediterranean. Scrapped in 1970.
