- Notes: Originally ordered as fleet oiler (10,000 ton capacity) under 1920 program. Reconstructed at Uraga Dock Co, Tokyo, in 1932-33 as a seaplane carrier for 10 to 14 floatplanes. Converted back to oiler in 1943. Suffered severe damage in air raids at Hong Kong in 1945, she was finally sunk 5 Apr 1945 by American Army aircraft.
