- Notes: 5th Emergency Flotilla. Differed from her sisters in carrying a prototype twin 4.5in mounting forward. Assigned to 23rd Destroyer Flotilla, Savage was part of escort for convoy JW55B in Dec 1943 when she and three of her sister ships participated in the sinking of Scharnhorst. Served during Normandy invasion of June 1944 and continued to end of war in Norwegian and Arctic waters. Served postwar until scrapped in 1962.
