Damaged by aerial torpedo 17 Sep 1940 NE of Bardia; temporary repairs at Alexandria Sep-Oct 1940. Refitting at Devonport from Jan 1941 during which she suffered further bomb damage 21 Apr 1941. Repairs completed Sep 1941, she joined 1st CS, Home Fleet to Dec 1944, with refits at Liverpool Jul-Sep 1942 and Chatham Oct 1943. Category "B" Reserve at Gareloch Jan 1945. Scrapped at Troon from Jan 1948.
