- Notes: Tynwald was a passenger vessel which served with the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company from 1937 until requisitioned as a personnel vessel in the first week of WW2. She made four round trips during Operation Dynamo, the evacuaion of Dunkirk, from 28 May to 4 Jun 1940, embarking 8,953 troops. At the end of 1940 she was acquired by the Royal Navy and converted to an auxiliary antiaircraft vessel. Participated in the landings at Algiers 8 Nov 1942 as part of Operation Torch. Four days later she was part of the escort for a task force sent to capture Bougie, 100 mi east of Algiers, when she was torpedoed and sunk by the Italian submarine Argo.
