Torpedoed by British submarine HMS Terrapin 24 Mar 1944 and grounded at Egersund to prevent sinking. Temporarily repaired by Jun 1944 and used as an accomodations/stores hulk. Postwar was loaded with gas shells and scuttled in the Skagerrak 31 Dec 1946.
