- Actions: Built originally for Hansa Line as Kandelfels. Commissioned 6 Feb 1940, sailed 22 Jun 1940. Among other successes, she decimated the Norwegian whaling fleet in the Antarctic. In a voyage of 321 days she sank or captured 28 ships of 136,551 grt. Caught and sunk by cruiser HMS Cornwall on 8 May 1941.
