- Service: In Martinique in June 1940. Immobilized and disarmed in agreement signed 1 May 1942. On 3 June 1943 country turned over to Algerian government and Emile Bertin made available after refitting to Allies. Took part in liberation of the south of France and was later assigned to the Flank Force which shelled positions along the Italian Riviera. Postwar she refit at Toulon and then sailed for the Far East in October 1945 to serve as a flagship off Indo-China. Returned to France in July 1946 and served as a gunnery training ship. She was scrapped in 1959.
