- Notes: Attached to 2nd BS, Home Fleet, on commissioning and then in Jun 1913 joined 2nd LCS. Joined 5th CS Aug 1914 and sank German merchantmen Fasolt, Ochtum, Borkum, and Hude during that month. Joined 1st LCS as flagship in Dec, then 3rd LCS at Rosyth in Feb 1915. In action at Jutland, being hit by one shell; after battle became flagship until sunk. Damaged by torpedo from U66 on 19 Aug 1916 while screening Grand Fleet, and towed to Flamborough Head, but torpedoed again by U52 and sank next day.
