- Notes: Built like a protected cruiser, with a decent armament, but whose main purpopse was to carry and launch her second class torpedo boats. She also served as a depot ship, first for the TBs, and in 1915 for submarines. Became a training hulk in 1931 and renamed Defiance III. Broken up 1955.
