- Notes: Double hulled submarine salvage vessel with docking space of 177' x 26' and designed lift of 500 tons. On 17 Jan 1911 saved 30 men from submarine U3 near Kiel, including Otto Weddigen, later the famous captain of U9. Also salvaged U30 on 27 Aug 1915, and UC45 on 17 Sep 1917. Surrendered to British forces, Vulkan sank 26 Apr 1919 while under tow en route to Harwich.
