- Notes: The galleon Gouden Leeuw (Golden Lion) was built in 1597 in the Netherlands with a displacement of 120 large salt loads. In 1601 she was purchased by the Council of Königsberg for the account of the Elector of Brandenburg and renamed Roter Löwe (Red Lion). She served as a guard ship at Pillau from 1602-1605 under Captain Peter Hintze. Under Johann Fett, she sailed laden with wood to Lisbon in October 1608 where she was sold.
