Sold 1947 to Lykes Lines, New Orleans, and renamed Helen Lykes. At least 10 sisters joined the Lykes fleet. Travelled between US Gulf ports to Northern Europe, or to the Mediterranenan, or to the Caribbean and west coast of SoutH America, or to East and South Africa. Sold 1967 and renamed Salisbury. Engine malfunction in 1969 and seized by Seychelles authorities. Scrapped in Singapore 1971.
