Used for phosphate transport from Casablanca to Ireland in winter and wood pulp from Canada to Britain in summer. Sold 1967 to Cie Maritime et Commerciale du Sud-ouest, France, and renamed Laroche. Sold 1973 to Nigrita Cia Nav. SA, Greece, and renamed Macedonia. Sold 1976 to Macedonia Cia Naviera, SA, Greece; sold 1978 to Nigrita Cia Nav SA, Greece; sold 1979 to Sunteam Maritime Co SA, Greece. Broken up at Inverkeithing 1980. Sistership Sugar Exporter.
