- Notes: Built as Haida for American millionaire Max Fleischman of Santa Barbara. Designed by Cox & Stevens. Having previously owned 22 yachts, Fleischmann wrote a congratulatory letter to the Krupp yard in August 1930, stating that following two extensive trips he found her the most satisfactory yacht he had ever owned. During WW2 she was acquired by the US Navy in Oct 1940 and converted for coastal patrol duty as USS Argus (PY-14). Worked out of San Francisco until decommissioning in 1946.
Bought by Egyptian cotton magnate Maurice Adda and renamed Sarina; based in Alexandria and later Cannes and then Monaco. Bought by Larry Green, American licence holder for Renault in the United Stateso in 1968, but then sold after one year to British MP Loel Guinness. Sold in 1978 to film producer Robert Stigwood. Sold 1981 and renamed Rosenkavalier. Sold 1988 to Hiroshi Isaka of Yokohama, Japan; later based in Singapore. Sold 1992 to Greek Cypriot businessman Andreas Dion Liveras and used for charter. Additional owners and name changes since.
