- Notes: Built as ferry SS Bore for the Bore Shipping Company. Last passenger steamship built in Scandinavia. Bore merged with other companies to eventually become part of the Silja Line, running between Abo-Mariehamn and Stockholm. Sold in 1976 to Finnish Jakob Lines and renamed SS Borea. Ran ferry services and in various charter ventures. Laid up at Turku in 1984. Purchased in 1987 by Rannikkolinjat Ltd (later Kristina Cruises) of Kotka and steam plant replaced by diesels; renamed MS Kristina Regina. Complete refit during winter of 1988-89 with new cabins and conversion of car deck to conference and function hall. Began cruising Apr 1989, she has seen additional renovations in 1992, 1999, and 2001.
