Rebuilt 1948-49 at Belfast, with single funnel (instead of original three), at 22,270 GRT with room for 573 first class, 496 tourist class. Resumed Australian service 5 Jan 1950. Converted to single class in 1954 with 1,252 passengers; Bombay call omitted. Final voyage to Australia 7 Dec 1961. Scrapped at Hong Kong, 1962.
