Collided with the Stettin steamer Nipponia in the Texel, 9 Oct 1908, which sank
with the loss of all hands. Passenger accomodations altered in 1910 to 400 second class
and 2200 steerage. Assigned to US Army as transport, 24 Mar 1919. Turned over to the
British as war reparations. Assigned by the Shipping Controller to Ellerman Lines, 10 Sep 1920.
Sold for scrap, Nov 1921.
