In Dec 1915 she was part of the Bombay-London convoy which brought the 2nd Indian Cavalry Division for service in France. May 1921 during London-West Indies passage suffered a fire in No.1 hold which required a 10-day stop in Falmouth. Oct 1937 sold to Cia. Ligure di Nav., Genoa, and renamed Giovanni Batista. Scuttled by the Italians 19 Jan 1943 at Tripoli to avoid capture by British 8th Army.
