- Service: Built for White Star Line's Liverpool-New York service. Launched 20 Sep 1906, the same day as Cunard's Mauretania. Maiden voyage 8 May 1907 Liverpool-New York. Terminal then transferred to Southampton, but returned to Liverpool in 1911. Operated under the Liner Requisition Scheme, 1917-18. Resumed commercial service 3 Sep 1919, Southampton-New York; passenger accommodation adjusted to 400 first, 460 second, and 1,320 third class. In Aug 1922, three crew killed in coal bunker explosion at Liverpool. Cruising in 1933 until Aug when she was laid up. Last voyage 24 Mar 1934 Liverpool-New York. Broken up in Japan, 1935
