- Notes: A Panzer VI Tiger I chassis armed with a 38 cm RaketenWerfer RW61 L5.4, a large rocket launcher, developed from a Kriegsmarine depth charge launcher. The projectiles weighed 345kg and were about 1.5m long, so only 14 rounds could be stowed inside the fighting compartment. The exterior crane was fitted to help load the ammunition. The rocket launcher was breech-loaded; a normal charge started the projectile on its way, followed by ignition of the rocket, with venting of the rocket exhaust channeled through shafts surrounding the tube. Intended for employment in urban fighting, with the ability to destroy houses or fortifications with a single shot. Only 19 were built, serving in three Panzer Sturmmörser Kompanien (armored assault howitzer company) 1000, 1001, and 1002. The first Pz.Stu.Mr.Kp fought during the Warsaw uprising, and the latter two in the Ardennes Offensive.
