- Notes: Delivered to the USAAF in March 1945, this aircraft was one of the last P-51s to reach the Eighth Air Force prior to VE-Day. Olds used at least seven fighters during his tour of duty in the European theater of Operations, and SCAT VII was the only one not to be written off by another pilot. Returned to the US post-war, the fighter survived in civilian hands until written off in a fatal accident in 2004.
