- Actions: Improved Cleveland class with single funnel and various modifications to reduce topweight. Fargo was completed too late to see action in WW2. Of eight sisters laid down, only one, CL-107 Huntington, was completed; still others were cancelled. Fargo served several tours of duty in the Mediterranean before being decommissioned.
